Convention Dates

TCEA's 2027 convention will be held Sunday, January 31 – Wednesday, February 3, 2027.

Sunday will feature Pre-Conference Workshops, the Leadership Summit, and the Welcome Adventure.

To access the Pre-Conference Workshops and Leadership Summit, you must have a Premium Conference Badge and be pre-registered for the specific Pre-Conference Workshop you plan to attend OR the Leadership Summit. (Completed during the registration process.)

The Welcome Adventure is open to all badge holders and will be held from 3:30 p.m. – 6 p.m. behind the Registration area in Exhibit Hall 1.

Sessions, Keynotes, Learning Labs, and Panels will all be available Monday through Wednesday. The Exhibit Hall and Exhibitor Showcase sessions will also be accessible during this time. Please see the schedule and badge type access to plan your time at TCEA 2027.

Most TCEA events now feature member/non-member pricing, with the discounted member rate offered as a benefit to existing members. If you're already a TCEA member, you'll automatically receive member pricing when you register. If you're not a member, your registration will be at the non-member rate. Upon registration payment, your TCEA membership will be activated, and all future TCEA events, resources, and benefits will be available to you at member pricing going forward, with no need to re-enroll or pay again.

You can check your membership status at any point by logging into the TCEA Portal, clicking My Profile at the top of the screen, and then My Membership Overview.

Payment Policy

Yes. TCEA provides a 30-day window for payment. You may register online and select the "Invoice" option on the payment page. You will be required to provide an acceptable form of payment within 30 days of registering to avoid cancellation. Acceptable forms of payment include purchase orders, ACH, checks, and credit cards. To pay by ACH, email registration@tcea.site for more information.

Yes. You may register and pay by purchase order, but a purchase order is not a final payment.

  1. Select "Purchase Order" on the payment page.
  2. Provide the PO number and upload the purchase order when prompted.

NOTE: A purchase order confirms your registration for the event, but it is not a final payment. Payment by check or credit card must be sent to fulfill your purchase order and pay for your registration.

You can complete your registration even if you do not yet have your purchase order.

  1. Select "Invoice" on the payment page when registering and complete the registration process.
  2. Once you've received your purchase order, click the "Submit Payment" link in your confirmation email to upload it.

Yes. You may register and pay by check. To pay by ACH, email registration@tcea.site for more information. Select "Invoice" on the payment page when registering.

An acceptable form of payment must be received within 30 days of registering to avoid cancellation for non-payment. Acceptable forms of payment include purchase orders, checks, ACH, and credit cards. Registrations made less than 30 days before the event must submit payment before the start of the event, or prior to event participation.

A Purchase Order confirms your registration for the event, but it is not a final payment. Payment by check, ACH, or credit card must be sent to fulfill your Purchase Order and pay for your registration.

You will receive an email confirming the receipt of your payment or purchase order. Specific questions related to payment should be sent to registration@tcea.site.

Yes. There are three ways to reinstate your canceled registration by submitting payment and a written request.

Note: Accounting will re-register you at the current registration rate, which may be higher than your original registration rate. You will not be re-registered until payment is received.

  • Purchase order: Send an email to registration@tcea.site with a written request to reinstate your registration along with a purchase order reflecting the current registration rate.
  • Credit Card: Send an email to registration@tcea.site with a written request to reinstate your registration. Submit a Credit Card Authorization Form to pay the current registration rate by credit card.
  • Check: Send an email to registration@tcea.org with a written request to reinstate your registration. Mail your check to TCEA Registration, P.O. Box 18507, Austin, Texas 78760.

Registrations may be transferred to another attendee at no additional fee. The original registrant's rate will carry over to the new attendee, regardless of membership status. We will not charge, refund, or credit any difference between member and non-member pricing. To request a transfer, email registration@tcea.site.

On Site Accessibility

Tom's Wheelchair & Scooter Rentals can assist you if you need to rent a scooter or wheelchair. To ensure availability, we encourage you to reserve a wheelchair or scooter in advance by calling 210-223-7878. Tom's Wheelchair & Scooter Rentals can deliver your scooter to hotels in downtown San Antonio at no charge.

A representative from Tom's Wheelchair & Scooter Rentals will be available in Exhibit Hall 1 on Sunday, Jan. 31 from Noon – 6 p.m., and Monday, Feb. 1 from 7 a.m. – 9 a.m. Outside of those times, Tom's is available by phone (210-223-7878) to assist you.

ASL interpreting services are available to our deaf and hard-of-hearing participants upon request. To request ASL interpreting services, please complete the ASL Interpreting Request Form by January 8, 2027. We will make every effort to accommodate requests received after this date, but we cannot guarantee the same level of service for late submissions.

Those requesting ASL interpreting services must provide a complete anticipated session schedule by January 19, 2027, including the date, time, and session title for each session they plan to attend. Interpreter coverage will be coordinated based on the submitted schedule, not general Convention attendance dates or hours.

Presenters

Yes. All presenters wishing to attend are required to register by November 6, 2026. Primary presenters receive a discounted registration of $99 for a Basic Conference badge. Co-presenters do not receive a complimentary or discounted registration. For questions regarding presenter requirements, please contact registration@tcea.site.

Confirmed presenters who have signed their agreements by September 9 will receive a link to register by email the morning of September 10. Starting September 10, presenters will receive the link the morning after they sign their agreement in their Speaker Service Center. Co-presenters will not receive this email, as they do not receive discounted registration. If you register using this link and are not a primary presenter, your registration will be canceled.

You may register a maximum of three student co-presenters by completing the request form by January 11, 2027. A completed Minor Student Participant Release Form is required for each student under 18 years of age and must be emailed to registration@tcea.site by January 18, 2027. Additional information will be sent in mid-January regarding student co-presenters and badges. Student co-presenter badges are provided to minor students in order to present only. Students will not be allowed into any additional educational sessions or events.

Past Convention Handouts and Certificate of Attendance

TCEA began electronically tracking CPE credits at the 2017 TCEA Convention & Exposition. For 2016 and previous years, all CPE accrual was self-reporting. To access your certificate of attendance and CPE forms for the 2017 – 2025 conventions, click the Previous TCEA Convention & Expositions link and enter the email address you used for registration.
